Growing up, Elan was always known as the “math and science wizard,” which led him to realize that joining the engineering world would be the perfect fit. Flash forward to today, as Principal of Ballston Engineering. He leads the design team, manages projects, and assists in various operational functions of the firm.

With over 40 year work experience in ground-up construction, all phases of interior work and management for engineering on large multi-story projects from schematic design to the completion, Elan understands the “ins and outs” of delivering a successful end-product. A hands-on construction and development professional with verifiable track record for the successful completion of multi-million dollar projects through developing partnerships, and building positive rapport with architects, engineers, local officials, vendors and clients.

In addition to his daily responsibilities, Elan contributes his expertise to many professional associations, and to mentoring young professionals. Elan stresses the importance of being active to create a healthy lifestyle. You can find him most mornings in the gym before starting his day.
